2010.07.14 Doughnut Internship - the 3rd piece

I've done a lot of thinking lately. The thinking that only occurs when you're pressed between bedsheets and the clock is staring back at you in bright red 3am's and your mind is playing a constant loop of memories you'd rather forget.

Let's face it: My life is pretty much an empty box. After the conversation with my supervisor, I found out that my brain took too much things of granted at the golden age for learning. This is so bad and I am guilty of this.

I know that life is not easy, but I guess it is not so hard. Curiosity is the important, it can do anything rather than killed the cat. But, I guess I've still kind of fallen into the idea that maybe sometimes things are meant to be. So, I'll try not to trouble the trouble until the trouble troubles me.

I've learned a few things though. I constantly update myself with wide variety of information, discuss it with people, and try to listen their opinion as well. But I am not going to waste my time on something which will bored me. As hard as it is, I'm going to move on. One day, I'll find my capable of being proud to be me.

Actually I've planned to blog about some recent event of my employment. But the time is not allow and sleep is always in the priority. I promise to update it in next entry, you have my words!

always love, J

Give them 360 sen in for this full breakfast set. Woohoo, I found a new motivation which wake me up early everyday.
And, I'm sorry for blaming you to be the reason of my weight gain and supposed ugliness.

2010.06.12 Doughnut Internship - the 1st piece

It's been around two weeks since I've left the Ivory Tower. I would describe my internship as a big round dough with different types of filling. Cut the dough into eight equal pieces. A lemon flavor, the first piece is. A shockingly sour first taste that makes me feel that my mouth tingle with the sensational burst of lemon flavor.

Nothing is unrelated to food, especially on me.
that's what one of my friend told me.

I've no working experience since the last 21 years, and it took awhile to accustomed myself to it, but eventually it felt nice getting around with that iconic logo.

Here, I found the great balcony views and a place where I feel the privacy is belong to me. This is where I actually using own ability to work for money. Ok, I am exaggerating but it's close to being it. Language is really the key obstacle in the moment, but I'll figure it out, in one day not too far. My colleagues are such a nice bunch, friendly and generous.

'Never judge a book from it cover'. I practically learn it from one of my muscular colleague, brother Bob. I bet he's one who wear the smiley face at the most.

It's been two weeks into the job now, and I've experienced the good and bad of the job. They place me in Expenditure Accounting and Analyse Department and I was shocked by the complicated structure of the big company. An expenditure department has occupied the whole floor of the building and there are so many section within this department itself. Ground Handling, was the word I've been throw in the most at here. Things like process invoices from different airlines (suppliers, as what they called it), reading through their agreements are under my job scope. Out of curiosity, learning all these things that I never heard about give me so much of fun.

Occasionally I get to chat up with colleagues who tell me about their life, plans and these things enrich my thinking more than it usually is. Nescafe is allowing here and I'm so excited to notice that majority of my colleagues are nescafe addicted. Mmm. The heavenly smell of fresh nescafe is intoxicating. How cool is that.

Tonight, I decided to say hello with my long lost friend :) A month is considering long if you didn't have much laughter and gossiping together with the one who you used to meeting each other everyday and having breakfast without each other right?

Well, I'm off to get to dress up for my date. Have fun!

p/s: this is how life is, and it taught me how to appreciate things more than I used to.
